Transgenomic, Inc., is a designer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art scientific instruments used in the analysis of DNA/RNA, amino acids, proteins, peptides, and carbohydrates. The company’s Separations Group synthesizes and packages polymeric biochromatography media and columns under the name Sarasep. The company’s Instrument Group designs and manufactures a wide range of sample introduction and detector products, on-line process monitoring systems, and accessories under the name CETAC Technologies. The company’s Bio Group, operating under the Transgenomic name, has focused on biological applications and future biotechnology development.
