Vaccinex Incorporated

Founded in 1997, Vaccinex is a privately owned biotechnology company developing treatments that harness the power of the body's immune system to fight cancer and other diseases. Vaccinex's novel core technology represents a significant advance in gene discovery technology as it permits the efficient selection of individual genes associated with specific biological processes, even in circumstances in which other methods fail. This technology is proprietary to Vaccinex and offers diverse applications including: antigen identification, human monoclonal antibody ("MAb") selection, and functional gene discovery. Vaccinex is leveraging these technologies to develop its own antibody and vaccine-based therapeutics and has also begun marketing its Human Antibody Selection Technology to other biopharmaceutical companies with their own proprietary targets.
