Pharmaleads is a research company focussed on the custom design of substrates and inhibitors of zinc metallopeptidases and proteases.

Pharmaleads has already developed molecules for ECE, NEP, ACE, APN, APA,...



Pharmaleads has designed a substrate that detect botulinum toxin A and B at low concentration. It is available for pharmaceutical industries as a substrate or through technology licencing agreement. A product called EzyBot for the field detection of botulism is marketed by Pharmaleads for biodefense applications (bioterrorism).
