The Company was founded in 1970 by Mr. Edwin A. Cohen and a partner, and commenced active business in 1972 as a manufacturer of generic drug products. Barr is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE-BRL). The Company currently markets 70 products, representing various dosage strengths and product forms of 34 chemical entities. The Company's product line is concentrated primarily on six core therapeutic categories: oncology, female

healthcare, cardiovascular, anti-infectives, pain management and psychotherapeutics.
