Advanced Biotechnologies is a privately owned UK company based in Surrey, approximately 20 miles from London.



The company has grown rapidly since its formation in 1989 and has gained a worldwide reputation as a leading supplier of high quality innovative products at competitive prices.



In December 1995, our position in the molecular biology and life sciences market was strengthened when Advanced Bioenzymes Ltd ( a wholly owned enzyme manufacturing company of Advanced Biotechnologies Ltd.) signed a licensing agreement with F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd and the Perkin-Elmer Corporation granting Advanced Biotechnologies rights to sell Taq DNA polymerase and other products in the research field, for applications of the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) process.
