Biogen, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company principally engaged in the business of developing, manufacturing and marketing drugs for human health care. The Company currently derives revenues from sales of its AVONEX(R) (Interferon beta-1a) for the treatment of relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis and from sales by its licensees of a number of products, including alpha interferon, hepatitis B vaccines and hepatitis B diagnostic products.
