In 2003, we acquired a North American vaccine sales, promotion and distribution company, Berna Products Corporation (BPC). BPC has the exclusive North American sales and distribution rights to the world's only licensed oral typhoid vaccine, Vivotif®. It also brings Acambis invaluable selling experience, a strong infrastructure and access to an established network of customers to whom we plan to market other vaccines we are currently developing once they are licensed.
