AERES Biomedical

AERES is a privately owned, drug development company which for over 18 years has worked closely with its biopharmaceutical industry partners to generate therapeutic antibody candidates. AERES' strong track record of success is built upon its proprietary expertise in antibody humanization. AERES has generated well over 20 therapeutic antibody candidates on behalf of its industry partners, at least eight of which have progressed to clinical trials.

AERES' technology, which entails the genetic modification of mouse monoclonal antibodies to their human or "humanized" equivalent, has effectively solved the problem of immunogenicity associated with earlier attempts to use mouse antibodies for therapy.
