Bioalma

Founded in 2000, bioalma is headquartered in Madrid, Spain. Founders include well-known leading scientists from Spanish Research Council (CSIC). The bioalma scientific advisory board also includes many members of the prestigious CSIC.
Believing in the power of collaboration to accelerate innovation.
bioalma participates in several European Union (EU) collaborative research projects (industry-academic). Current EU collaborations include a project to predict the biological function of genes, taking into account context-based aspects (Genefun), an effort to discover new technologies for distributed, semantic-based search on the web (Alvis) and a project to analyze microarray experiments that come from different organisms (Wound).
