A pioneer in the development of gene therapy AMT has used its scientific know-how and expertise to build up a strong research and clinical development program filling an unmet medical need for therapy of severe (orphan) diseases in the following areas:metabolic disorders ocular diseases central and peripheral nervous system AMT is located on the premises of the AMC and employs a staff of 38 highly educated people with scientific and industrial experience. AMT has state-of-the-art GMP facilities, which are also available to other companies and academic institutes for contract manufacturing services
