Founded in 1998, AnaMar Medical is a biomedical company that today employs nine people in R&D and five in Management and Sales/Marketing. We commercialize a unique knowledge platform, built up over 20+ years at the University of Lund, in the field of cartilage biology and associated joint diseases.Through our proprietary disease models, we have attracted interest also from new partners leading to highly productive development of drug candidates.The company has an extensive project portfolio. We have two biomarkers on the market and we have reached the stage where we plan to initiate licensing discussions regarding our first Candidate Drugs during 2006.
