Download detailed PDF Members: The Federal Biogical Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry has its origins in the Biological Division at the Imperial Health Office founded in Berlin in 1898.It is now based both in Berlin-Dahlem and in Brunswick (i.e. Braunschweig), the latter serving as the administrative headquarters and as seat of the president. Further institutes and outstations are located in Kleinmachnow (Brandenburg), Bernkastel-Kues (Rhineland- Palatinate), Darmstadt (Hesse), Dossenheim (Baden-Wuerttemberg), Münster and Elsdorf/Rheinland (North Rhine-Westfalia), plus two testing sites in Sickte near Brunswick (Lower Saxony) and in Dahnsdorf (Brandenburg).
