BFi OPTiLAS was founded in 1998 by the merger of the BFI IBEXA Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Avnet Corporation, and the Optilas Group, a privately owned company. In January 2002 Gamma Optronik AB was acquired in order to expand and enhance the Group's capabilities in the Nordic area.
Our company is one of Europe's largest distributors of specialist products and services catering to the electronics and photonics markets. We employ over 310 people in 12 offices with sales and marketing coverage across all of Western Europe.
