Biologie & Industrie

Created in 1984, Biologie & Industrie was initially created as a biotechnology firm, manufacturing monoclonal antibodies in cancerology.The two founders, Rémy and Sylvie BROSSEL, cancerologists, later evolved the company towards providing clinical research services and, in 1992, the last mice were sacrificed In 1991, B&I comprised 12 employees, and moved locations to 158 avenue de Paris in Vincennes (in the Paris Area). In 1998, additional annexes were rented in nearby St. Mandé, and then when the team grew to nearly 50 employees, the Clinical Research and Biometrics were relocated in June 2001 to Montreuil at 89/91 rue Robespierre, whereas the Administrative and Head Offices remain in Vincennes. The share capital increased in two phases : In 1989 from 50 000 to 300 000 French Francs, and in 2000 up to 285 000 Euros. Simultaneously, a new subsidiary was created : Conseil, Audit et Biometrie (Consulting, Audit & Biometrics), located at 158, avenue de Paris in Vincennes.
