BitTech, Inc. is a biotechnology company that focuses on the identification and initiation of research which has the potential to lead to enabling technology. BitTech was founded by Grant A. Bitter, Ph.D. in 1993. Dr. Bitter earned his Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from Washington University, School of Medicine (1978). Dr. Bitter was a Senior Staff Fellow at the National Institutes of Health until 1981. From 1981 until 1992, Dr. Bitter held a scientific, product development and research management positions at Amgen, Inc. Dr. Bitter is the author of over thirty scientific publications, an inventor or co-inventor on eight issued or pending U.S. patent applications, and has served as an expert consultant to the World Health Organization.
