Boling Clinical Trials, Inc. is a freestanding clinical trials organization specializing in the therapeutic area of rheumatology and osteoporosis. From its humble beginnings with an occasional practice related arthritis trial (1990), the trials organization has grown to a separate company of eighteen employees. Its highly dedicated staff includes an on-site nurse manager, (Connie Austin RN, MSN, and a nurse practitioner/clinician with extensive clinical trials experience (Patricia Deslauriers, RN, FNP). BCT is located on the third floor of the facility which houses Inland Rheumatology and Osteoporosis. While maintaining its own specialized staff and mission it preserves a close affiliation and integration with the superb clinicians of Inland Rheumatology and Osteoporosis. BCT has carried out clinical trials in a variety of therapeutic areas including rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, women's health and menopause. Over 100 clinical trials have been carried out since 1990. The center is nationally known for its work in rheumatology and osteoporosis and has been instrumental in work that has brought many of the most outstanding recent pharmaceutical and biologic therapeutics to market.
