Breast Care

Our inspiration for creating a comprehensive breast care center was based on our observation that the care for women with breast problems was fragmented. There were delays in diagnosis, delays in treatment, and a lack of communication among doctors and between the doctors and their patients. We envisioned a revolutionary new approach to breast care. We concluded that breast problems should be treated as an emergency. If a woman found a lump or received a report of an abnormal mammogram she should be seen within one day. Secondly, we believed that the treatment team should include dedicated breast care experts located in one center, sharing the same medical records, and communicating with each other on a daily basis.
