Headquartered in Malaysia, the BST Group started out as a distributor of life science products in Malaysia through the establishment of BioSynTech in 1997. Growing into a group of companies in recent years, its current business include the distribution of products, manufacturing, and consultancy & training. It serves the Asia pacific region and its customer base are in the universities, hospitals, industrial laboratories, schools, government department, private laboratories and research institutions.
Corporate Philosophy
Back in 1997, the founders of the BST Group decided there and then that they could do a better job than the existing companies currently serving the market. They believe the key differentiation factor that they possess was merely the belief that they themselves, as individuals made a difference in the overall scheme of things. Working hard and in spite of the Asian Currency crisis that swept the region at that time, they rapidly gained the trust of the customers and a few manufacturers that were willing to invest their time in doing business with a small company with modest means.
Growing rapidly, with 70 employees currently, the BST Group still believe that the individual makes a difference and spare no expenses in getting the best people for the job. They still believe that gaining customers trust is equally important and gives the best support possible to its customers. It still believe very much in the idea of doing business with like-minded companies that are willing to share in it's success.
So despite the fact that it has grown into a larger group of companies, moving beyond just the distribution business, it has managed to retain its own set of values that it holds as the most important cornerstone of its corporate identity.

The corporate strategy of the BST Group is to function as a collaborator, consultant and research partner to our clients. To achieve this, our efforts are targetted towards understanding the clients’ needs in order to meet and exceed their current and future requirements.
At the same time, we seek to elevate our capabilities in all aspects to be a world-class player in our chosen field. In order to achieve this, we seek to associate ourselves with the best business partners, learn their best practices and co-operate with them to enhance our standard and remain relevant to the market.
