Cambridge Polymer Group, Inc. is a contract research laboratory located in Boston, MA. The company was founded in 1996 by MIT doctoral recipients to provide a cost-effective resource for research and development to clients who need periodic access to Ph.D.-level scientists and their support structure. Our think-tank style of research allows our scientists to assist in the development of new materials, formulations and instrumentation in response to client-specified requirements. When designing solutions, we actively consider the full-range of relevant parameters including manufacturing constraints, quality control, intellectual property strategies, and compliance with federal regulatory agencies. Our researchers are experts in a broad range of scientific fields, including chemical, electrical, biomedical and mechanical engineering, materials science and biology. These disciplines are coupled with experience in prototyping, manufacturing, equipment design, marketing, and intellectual property to deliver results with academic-thoroughness in a cost-efficient, clear and timely manner. Our core competencies include property enhancement and development, test methodology development, process development, radiation chemistry, rheology, failure analysis and blends formulations.
