Bone Care is a leader in the discovery and development of improved vitamin D-hormone therapies for the treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism and certain hyperproliferative diseases. D-hormones have a key role in the progression and management of secondary hyperparathyroidism in patient populations with kidney dysfunction, including kidney Dialysis, pre-dialysis, and certain osteoporosis patients. Left untreated, secondary hyperparathyroidism contributes to the development of debilitating bone diseases. D-hormones also have a role in the progression and management of certain hyperproliferative diseases, including psoriasis and cancers of the prostate, breast and colon.
