Boston Probes, Inc., headquartered in Bedford, Massachusetts, is a leader in the development of peptide nucleic acid (PNA) probe technology for use in human in vitro diagnostics, agriculture, veterinary, environmental, and industrial testing.

The company was founded in 1996 by three scientists who were involved in the early development of PNA, a synthetic nucleic acid mimic.
