Since its establishment CRCERT has become a global business, attracting the support and funding of some of the world's largest ophthalmic companies in both its research and education activities. Industry is involved with the Centre on a project-by-project basis, ensuring the smooth commercial application of CRCERT research, and close contact between industry requirements and CRCERT research. Effective communication between CRCERT participants, and between CRCERT and industry, is fundamental to the work of the Centre.
