Founded in 1972, Cristália was firstly engaged in Psychiatry, supplying drugs to clinics, hospitals, and mainly to government bodies. A few years later, by focusing on the hospital segment, Cristália became the pioneer producer of anesthetics and adjuvants. Still engaged in the hospital market, it approached a new segment in pain management by launching narcotic analgesic drugs.
