She has worked in the field of genetics and physical mapping since 1992. Over the past 8 years, she has developed a strong expertise in using genomic tools and databases. Completion of the human genome sequence has created a new era in science. A challenge facing researchers today is to analyze the data that has been generated by the Human Genome Project.
