Domantis Inc

Domantis Limited was launched in December 2000 by Sir Gregory Winter and Dr Ian Tomlinson of the MRC–LMB with the backing of the MRC and MVM Limited to commercialise Domain Antibody products. To date, Domantis has raised a total of $83M, most recently attracting additional $29 million in a Series B prime venture financing in December 2005 from new investors Novo Nordisk and MC Life Science Ventures, Inc. (a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation), together with its existing investors which included 3i, MVM and Peptech Limited. These funds are being used to expand Domantis' portfolio of proprietary dAb therapeutic leads and to advance certain dAb leads toward clinical trials. Today, Domantis has over 55 employees, including a core scientific group in Domain Antibody discovery and development and scientists involved Domain Antibody Technology and product development. Domantis' R & D laboratories are located on the Cambridge Science Park in Cambridge, UK and its commercial offices are located in Waltham, Massachusetts, USA
