At Ciba-Geigy he created and managed one of the largest and most competitive drug design groups in the world. Dr. Cohen's group contributed to the discovery of eight drugs currently in development. These drugs were discovered using the technology he developed, one of them (Diovan/Valsartan) was introduced to the market in December 1996, with sales of up to $ 2 billion - in 2003
