- Epitomics was issued patent no. 7,431,927 covering a broad grouping of anti-TNF (Tumor Necrosis Factor) antibodies. This potentially industry-changing antibody patent provides a sweeping grant of exclusivity that will broadly cover any antibody that contains the binding region of a particular rabbit TNF-neutralizing antibody, as well as a large number of variant antibodies that contain amino acid substitutions in the antibody’s binding region.
