KAIROS Scientific Inc. develops instrumentation, computer algorithms, and molecular biology methods to create solutions to challenging problems in the biopharmaceutical and chemical industries. Our pioneering efforts in Digital Imaging Spectroscopy (DIS) enable researchers to obtain spectral and/or time-dependent information for each pixel or group of pixels in a two dimensional scene. This is equivalent to tens of thousands of spectrophotometers operating in parallel. Our innovations have been recognized by the awarding of over 20 government (NASA, NIH, DOE, & NSF) grants and contracts. Our proprietary technologies and collaborative spirit have attracted numerous commercial clients, including companies involved in chemical manufacturing (diversified, agricultural and specialty) as well as biotech/diagnostics.Product application areas include: high-throughput screening of evolved proteins (including biopharmaceuticals and bioindustrial enzymes), biodiversity and natural products screening, and microbial identification.
