Created in October 2001, FaustPharmaceuticals is a spin-off of the Centre National de Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), based on technologies developed by Dr. Maurice Israel. In November 2003, FaustPharmaceuticals acquired Euroclide.Up to date, FaustPharmaceuticals has raised M€ 19 in two series of fund raising (M€ 3 in Feb. 2002, M€ 16 in Apr. 2004).After a first year of incubation in the laboratories of scientific founders, FaustPharmaceuticals moved to Illkirch/Strasbourg, France, at the heart of the BioValley.FaustPharmaceuticals has already started a Phase IIa clinical trial for its most advanced compound in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, in Parkinson's disease and is preparing a Phase IIa in migraine
