Calyx Therapeutics

Calyx Therapeutics uses novel methods to isolate the biologically active molecule from natural plant and animal extracts with demonstrated clinical activity in humans. The company determines the chemical structure of the isolated compound and develops small-molecule analogs for pharmaceutical applications. Calyx is pursuing drug discovery efforts in the areas of diabetes, inflammation and allergy. Since its inception in 1997, Calyx has entered 2 compounds into clinical trials and has developed a rich pipeline of preclinical candidates in the areas of diabetes and inflammation.
