GENPOINT® AS, an innovative biotechnology company founded in 1998 with headquarters in Oslo, NORWAY. The largest investors (93,7%) are: Startfondet ASA, Biovekst AS, and Braganza As. Genpoint® AS has received significant research funding from the Norwegian Research Council from the start. The company currently employs 16 people.
Genpoint specialises in preparation of DNA/ RNA from bacteria, viruses, parasites and human cells in difficult biological samples like urine, sputum, and faeces.
The company delivers complete automated solutions for isolation of DNA/RNA of among others STI, MRSA and tuberculosis.

Genpoint also deliver custom made solutions to OEM partners.

The technologies aim to support the users' reproducibility, productivity and effectiveness by improving speed, reliability, ease of use, and reduction of costs. Genpoint's commercial partners will thus get better products and improve their competitive position.
