The Geriatric Neuropsychology Laboratory (GNL) is the research component of the New England Geriatric Research, Education and Clinical Center (GRECC) within the VA Boston Healthcare System.
Our mission is to advance scientific knowledge regarding the medical, psychological and social needs of the older veteran's population.
The GNL has academic affiliations with Harvard Medical School and receives funding from the Department of Veteran's Affairs and the National Institutes of Health.
We have a rich and diverse history of research in Alzheimer's disease, amnesia, aphasia and hemi-spatial neglect. You can look through a selection of publications by lab members here.
Presently, our research focuses on examining neural and cognitive changes in the brain as a result of aging, dementia, or brain damage
