Hameln pharma group gmbh

The company was founded 1950 in Hameln by the physician and pharmacist Prof. Dr. med. Günther Kerstein. Yet the roots go back a lot further then, the origins are to be found in the Raths-Apotheke in Hameln. This pharmacy opened its door in 1611 and today it is the oldest pharmacy in Hameln. In the beginning the company focused on preparations for the German market. But it only took a few years until we started the first contract manufacture of medicinal products for other pharmaceutical companies. In the 70’s we had reached the point of specialising in the manufacture of parenterals for hospitals.
