Indian Immunologicals Limited

Indian Immunologicals Ltd (IIL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of National Dairy Development Board, established in 1983. IIL's plant at Hyderabad is built in collaboration with Wellcome Foundation of U.K. In addition to Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) vaccine under the flagship brand name "Raksha", IIL also produces a range of other veterinary vaccines such as anti-rabies vaccine, Thileriosis vaccine, Bacterial vaccines, Canine vaccines and a host of other combined vaccines. These vaccines were added over the years through constant effort in our research and development. IIL has grown substantially from 1996 onwards and today, it is the No.1 Veterinary biologicals in the country. IIL also markets full range of Animal health products. IIL is credited with the launch of Nimovet inj for Veterinary use. Nimovet is the first Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug developed in the world in injectable form for veterinary use. IIL's plant at Hyderabad is one of the largest FMD vaccines producing plant in the world and certified with WHO-GMP and ISO 9001 certifications. IIL is also one among the largest exporters of Veterinary Biologicals in Asia.
