Infigen is a biotechnology company developing nuclear transfer and genomic technologies for applications in human healthcare. We focus on four distinct yet related platforms:Therapeutic Proteins
Transgenic animals as bioreactors to produce proteins used in a variety of therapeutic applications including surgery, trauma, cancer therapy, urinary and fecal incontinence, cosmetic reconstruction and chronic diseases.
Non-transgenic, cloned animals to replicate unique immune responses used in human diagnostics.
Xenotransplantation
Genetically modified miniature pigs as an alternative source of organs, tissues, and cells for human transplant.
Genomic Reprogramming
Mouse, cattle, and porcine embryos as a tool to investigate and assess reprogramming for the purpose of discovery and developing novel therapies and medicines.
Animal Models of Disease
Genetically modified pigs to study human disease etiology and to test new therapies before use in humans. Both classical and unique, proprietary technologies to target genes for change are employed.
