Our mission is to improve the economic well-being of the State of Iowa by working with businesses and communities to strengthen their foundations for growth in the New Economy.
The Iowa Department of Economic Development has three divisions: Business Development, Community Development and Administration.

The Business Development Division serves both domestic and international business clients.

The Community Development Division serves Iowa communities' economic development, tourism, film, and school-to-career needs.
