J2 Scientific is an international manufacturing and distributing company founded in March of 2000 by a group of professionals with common experience in the manufacture, sale, and service of analytical and sample preparation laboratory equipment.J2 Scientific specializes in Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC) Cleanup and automated sample preparation equipment. We have over 75 years of combined experience in the chemistry and instrumentation fields.Our offices are located in Columbia, Missouri, where GPC Cleanup has its roots. The cleanup of samples for pesticide analysis by gel permeation chromatography was first developed by Dr. David Stalling at the Fish Pesticide Lab in Columbia in the 1960's. Dr. Stalling was a co-founder of ABC Laboratories, where the first automated GPC Cleanup systems were manufactured. Jeff Wiseman, President of J2 Scientific, worked closely with Dr. Stalling while at ABC Labs and Dr. Stalling continues to collaborate with J2 Scientific on innovative GPC automation.
