Cell Works Incorporated

Cell Works Inc. is an early-stage biomedical company located in Baltimore, Maryland, basing their initial products on research conducted at The Johns Hopkins University (JHU). Cell Works has exclusively licensed certain cell isolation technology from JHU on a worldwide basis. This technology license currently incorporates one patent, one patent application, and related international patent applications that cover the use of isolating cancer cells in blood samples. Cell Works has established a reference laboratory for the isolation, characterization, and analysis of cancer cells in blood and other body fluids of breast and prostate cancer patients. The Company is further developing additional circulating cancer cell tests for colon, kidney, liver, gastric, and lung cancers for commercialization in the near future.
