KeyNeurotek AG was founded in 2000 in Magdeburg, one of the leading European Centers of Neuroscience. Focused to the development of drugs for the treatment of acute and chronic neurodegenerative disorders of the Central Nervous System (e.g. stroke and Alzheimer disease), the company merges superior expertise in neurobiology, preclinical and clinical drug development, medicinal chemistry and in silico/wet chemistry. KeyNeurotek has established efficient platform technologies for a tissue-based and disease-related functional screening ex and in vivo in order to catalyze the identification and development of highly promising drug candidates. KeyNeurotek's exclusive and HTS-compatible TELOMICSTM ex vivo Robotics represents the first setup for tissue-based high content screening world-wide and the technological basis of our approach to drug development.
