Cryo-Save specializes in the isolation and storage of (adult) stem cells..Stem cells can be harvested from umbilical cord blood and also from mature bone marrow. In contrast to embryonic stem cells, which are ethically disputed, these cells are an excellent alternative for transplants.
Life-Sciences Group N.V. is a Dutch holding with affiliates and partnerships in twenty countries. The nominal capital amounts to more than five million Euros. Shareholders include an insurance company, Mercator NV, and a number of private investors.
We have a central laboratory in Brussels, Belgium, and a cooperation partner in Germany. From the different countries across Europe, the samples are transported to these laboratories and are carefully processed. We have extensive quality systems in place, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) in Germany, and NBN EN ISO 17025 in Belgium.
