LightSmyth Technologies, Inc.

LightSmyth is a privately held corporation founded in June of 2000. The company has assembled an experienced team of optical industry scientists and engineers to create its innovative family of products, based on our patented Holographic Bragg Reflector (HBR) technology, which combines LightSmyth's nanophotonic design expertise with planar lightwave circuit fabrication to create the building blocks for integrated holographics. LightSmyth completed its Series A venture capital financing in December 2001 with lead investment provided by Intel Capital. Currently LightSmyth has contracts with multiple agencies within the U.S. Department of Defense, including DARPA and the Missile Defense Agency.
