Mach Hitech AG was formed in June 2000 and invests in high-growth companies in the technology sector. After a private placement in July 2000, Mach Hitech AG went public on the Swiss Exchange on September 4. Investment Strategy
Mach Hitech's strategy is to invest equity in a variety of selected companies in these industries. The funds are mainly invested in 2-4 core companies whose technological and strategic positioning looks set to reach an above-average growth. As the market for individual securities in these sectors is volatile, the portfolio will be supplemented by up to 20 smaller holdings.
In addition to investments in listed companies, Mach Hitech also invests in privately held companies. Differences in investment performance mean that appreciable shifts in the portfolio structure - and thus in the risk profile - are possible over time. Most of the portfolio companies are domiciled in Europe.
