MAFGROUP

B.V.MAGNESIET-EN AMARILFABRIEKEN "MAF" (Magnesite and Emery Works B.V.) at Vlaardingen has been found in 1927 as a logic procedure after the merging of Messrs.Rozenboom / Vlaardingen with the Magnesite Works N.V. The later has been found in 1902 by Mr. Frans van der Ven sr. The main activity was trading of Magnesite and Emery. In 1975 MAF Magnesite B.V. was found as a spin off of the B.V.Magnesiet-en Amarilfabrieken "MAF". The MAF Magnesite B.V.has been sold in 1992 to the company Possehl erz kontor GMBH . As a consequence MAF Magnesite B.V.has been moved from Vlaardingen to Schiedam.
In 1998 the shares of B.V. Magnesiet -en Amarilfabrieken "MAF" have been certified in a separate foundation. All the certificates belong to Mr.Ewald van der Ven. In the meantime the trading activities of Magnesite and Emery have been restarted under the heading B.V.Association for Chemical products "Lithos" as well as Tifor B.V. Both companies belong to MAF Holding.
