On August 2, 2004, Fisher Scientific International, Inc. and Apogent Technologies Inc. completed a business merger. As a result of this merger, Medical Analysis Systems (MAS) became part of Microgenics Corporation (MGC). Microgenics develops, manufactures, and supplies quality in-vitro immunodiagnostics for human health care. We offer immunoassays and a system solution for: • therapeutic drug monitoring
• drugs of abuse screening
• serum toxicology and endocrine assays
• Calibration Verification Materials
• Quality controls for Clinical labs

Microgenics brand names you may be familiar with are CEDIA, DRI, CASCO Standards (www.microgenics.com) and now the addition of , MAS Controls and LabLink .
MAS will begin moving to a new facility in Fremont, CA in early 2005.
