Triatomic Oxygen (O3 or ozone), is the first layer of atmospheric protection interfacing the vastness of the cosmos with Planet Earth. Ozone's healing properties have been known for many years and the use of medical ozone pre-dates WW I. Toxicity was a problem in early medical ozone usage as the drug was produced using compressed air containing nitrogen, rather than medical grade oxygen (O2). The drug Medizone (or ozone as used in this text), is a precisely manufactured and dosed combination of 02 & 03. Conceptually unique, at ambient temperature, 03 has a half life of 1 hour and in approximately 18 hours reverts to 02 in its entirety.

As part of this development, Medizone is also developing a range of protocols for the viral deactivation of blood and serum products, as well as human therapies.
A class of virus known as "lipid enveloped", has proven very susceptible to viral deactivation by properly administered and dosed ozone. Significantly, this family of viruses includes some of the most devastating viruses man is currently encountering including; HIV, Hepatitis B and C, Herpes Simplex and Epstein Barr.
