The founder and President of Med Services Europe is Dr. Gene Emmer. Based in Zurich Switzerland, Gene is an American with 15 years of international pharmaceutical and diagnostic industry experience. From sales rep to Vice President, Gene developed pharmaceutical, biotech and diagnostic markets in Switzerland, Greece and The UK for Hoffmann-La Roche, in the US for Roberts Pharmaceuticals (now part of Shire) and did business development in The Netherlands for Yamanouchi. He graduated with honors from The University of California at Berkeley, did a PhD in Physiology at The State University of New York at Buffalo and an M.B.A with a focus in Marketing at The Sloan School of Management (MIT). Gene’s native language is English. He speaks German fluently and is conversational in Greek.
