We utilize our expertise to design, manufacture and market sophisticated imaging and scanning solutions serving a variety of point-of-sale, commercial and industrial applications. Our solutions utilize a broad array of laser, holographic and vision-based technologies designed to provide superior functionality and a compelling value proposition for our customers.
Our products include laser bar code scanners, from which we derive most of our sales, industrial high speed vision and scanning systems and advanced optical systems and are sold into over 113 countries primarily to distributors, value added resellers, or VARs, original equipment manufacturers, or OEMs, and directly to end users in various industries. Our products are generally used as part of an integrated system and are connected to a host device, such as a computer system or electronic point-of-sale equipment. Our products can be classified into one of the following three categories:
• Point-of-Sale Bar Code Scanners and OEM Scan Engines
• Industrial High Speed Vision and Scanning Systems
• Adaptive Optical Systems
