Download detailed PDF Members: MNI was founded in 2000 by Drs. Kenneth Marek and John Seibyl to create a unique clinical research company that combines excellence in clinical neuroscience with state-of-art imaging using custom radiopharmaceuticals for diagnosis and monitoring of neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders. This fusion of internationally-recognized expertise in the clinical and imaging arenas into a unified research-dedicated organization allowed MNI to efficiently develop and execute large-scale diagnosis, progression and disease monitoring trials that stress quantitative imaging outcome measures. Drs. Marek and Seibyl has previously established their collaboration while faculty at Yale University and founded MNI with twenty staff members with long-term experience in clinical imaging trials. MNI is a privately-held, limited liability company incorporated in the state of Connecticut. MNI has developed a number of strategic alliances and corporate partnerships and contracts with major pharmaceutical companies, including Pfizer, Novartis, Boehinger-Ingelheim, Cephalon, Lilly, and GE Healthcare, among othersMolecular NeuroImaging, LLC (MNI) is a neuroimaging services company specializing in the efficient application of scintigraphic biomarkers in drug development and clinical research for neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric disorders. MNI provides services across the pre-clinical and clinical spectrum including radioligand development, design and implementation of Phase 1 to Phase 4 clinical imaging trials, and customized clinical imaging site coordination and management in multi-site imaging studies. Our strong emphasis is on using investigational radiotracers with quantitative imaging outcome measures as diagnostic tools and/or for assessing disease mechanism or progression. Our focus is on developing radioligands as tools for human research. Clinical imaging studies conducted at our research dedicated imaging center include initial human biodistribution and dosimetry assessment, imaging outcome measure validation, in vivo occupancy and displacement studies, and Phase IIb/III/IV multi-center clinical trials to assess diagnostic accuracy, disease mechanism, or disease progression. MNI also has experience in coordinating multi-site imaging studies. We have developed a comprehensive clinical imaging site coordination and management program including site selection and set-up, training and management, core imaging lab services to acquire and analyze multi-center quantitative imaging data, and data management and regulatory compliance services.
