NEAJA Pharmaceutical Inc. is a private Canadian company created from the acquisition of assets from SynPhar Laboratories Inc.,(founded 1987) and a merger with DrisCorp Inc., a contract research company performing pre-clinical lead optimization medicinal chemistry.SynPhar Laboratories was a joint venture Alberta company between Taiho Pharma. Co. Ltd, Japan (Otsuka) and Dr. R.G. Micetich, Alberta, Canada and was established as an early stage pharmaceutical R&D company for the discovery of new drugs and to move them to the preclinical and IND stages. SynPhar holds over 100 patents in various disease areas and has established many compounds in various developmental stages.
