Namiex chemicals was incorporated in 1974 as NAYAR MINERAL EXPORTS. Initially the company started with manufacture of DIOSGENIN and was supplying to multinationals like CIBA-GEIGY, WYETH LAB, INFAR (ORGANON) etc. The production facility of the company is ideally located in the lap of Shivalik hills to tap the Himalayan based raw material.Then METHOXSALEN a new product was introduced and gradually more natural products were introduced. The company was seeking technical guidance from Central Scientific & Industrial Research Council (C.S.I.R).The present management took over the company few years back and renamed it NAMIEX CHEMICALS. Now the company is specifically working on extraction, isolation and purification of therapeutic phytochemical. A number of new products like SILYMARIN, BERGAMOTTIN etc. are being worked upon. A newly developed product like BERGAPTEN have been introduced.
